I have been chasing an issue with the box truck randomly not starting. Might be weather related when the issue is happening. Sometimes when it starts the dashboard says Engine Reduced Power and when I look that up it is a mode to help protect the engine. If I turn it off and wait a couple minutes, it will then normally start ok. Here is what has been replaced:
- Starter
- Battery
- Throttle Body (repair shop replaced this)
- Ignition Swith
- Starter Relay
The check engine light does come on and I have codes from a Bluetooth device I bought online and codes from the repair shop.
- U0100:7F – Repair Shop Engine Light Checker (New Code reading 2025)
- P1682:00 – Repair Shop Engine Light Checker (New Code reading 2025)
- P0442 – Bluetooth Adapter Engine Light Checker (This code was showing around 2024)
- P1682 – Bluetooth Adapter Engine Light Checker (This code was showing around 2024)
