So far I have found three storage “types” in Office365 that allow capacity expansion of the following:

  • CRM
  • Sharepoint
  • OneDrive

Prices are listed as of 12/09/2021

Type 1
CRM database storage:

  • $40 per month per GB for database Capacity Increase
  • $10 per month per GB for Log Capacity Increase
  • $2 per month per GB for File Capacity Increase
  • $40 per month per user adds:
    • 0.25GB Database Capacity
    • 2GB File Capacity
    • CRM Access

Go here to view your capacity
https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/resources/capacity#summary

You can also see from this picture that other office365 license give you storage.
For example we have 1 MS project license which gives us 250MB database (wow so generous 6MB less than Power Apps license. Who comes up with this?) and 2GB file space.

I managed to find pricing by going here:
https://go.microsoft.com/fwlink/p/?linkid=868433

Billing>Purchase Services>Search for Capacity

Scroll down and there are the options under Dynamics CRM

Type 2
SharePoint storage options are much more affordable:

  • $0.20 per GB per month
  • $200 per TB per month

To find these prices I searched for Standard in the same area as above for CRM
Click Details on Microsoft 365
Then click Add-Ons
I am not eligible because my licenses are purchased through a vendor so I would need to go with my vendor

Type 3
OneDrive storage options:

(1TB per user is included by default with the Office365 subscription)

  • $10 per user per month for “unlimited”

*Unlimited individual cloud storage for qualifying plans for subscriptions of five or more users, otherwise 1 TB/user. Microsoft will initially provide 1 TB/user of OneDrive for Business storage, which admins can increase to 5 TB/user. Request additional storage by contacting Microsoft support. Storage up to 25 TB/user is provisioned in OneDrive for Business. Beyond 25 TB, storage is provisioned as 25 TB SharePoint team sites to individual users.

I found this using the same search feature above and it showed up when expanding OneDrive under Included Apps
